The mission of CERN Audit and Investigation Services is to:

  • Provide independent, objective and risk-based assurance to
    • Help CERN accomplish its objectives and protect organisational value
    • Improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes for CERN and its Pension Fund
  • Provide support to the Audit Committee and CERN External Auditors.
  • Investigate all aspects of misconduct, ensuring a thorough, efficient, and fair process with a dedicated investigation capacity and a single, unified protocol.
